Her great-grandfather used to own a vineyard in one of the most important viticulture regions in Serbia, where winemaking tradition dates back to ancient times.

Unfortunately the Balkan region remains a well kept secret for many wine lovers. It is almost unbelievable that, from a Western European perspective, this particular area is so often overlooked when talking about a good glass of wine.
In our opinion, this is a missed opportunity. There are so many fascinating, unique wines and even native grapes from this area waiting to be discovered.
Mighty Wines’ objective is to put our own handpicked selection from local Balkan wineries in the spotlight, and by doing this, make them more easily accessible for a broader public of wine lovers.
